Mission

Assistance League® of Orange was founded in 1941 and chartered as a chapter of  National Assistance League® in 1950.  The Chapter Center, located at 124 S. Orange Street, Orange, California, is the focal point of our community service.
Members of Assistance League of Orange volunteer to staff our philanthropic projects, which assist individuals in need who reside in the city of Orange and/or who attend school in the Orange Unified School District.  Funds raised from the community are returned to the community through our philanthropic projects.

In keeping with National Assistance League objectives:

It is the mission of Assistance League of Orange to help people in our community who are less fortunate, to lead better and more productive lives.  As community needs change, Assistance League of Orange is mindful of new projects and services which prove its dedication to its founding principle of helping people help themselves.
